PreAP Geometry

Welcome to PreAP Geometry! Are you ready to work? Geometry is a world of its own. It will be very different from the math courses you have taken up to now. There will be some topics that are similar, but we will jump into points, lines and planes which will open up a whole new world. And yes, we will also experience some proofs along the way.
Geometry is all around us. It is one of the most useful maths that you will learn. The home that you live in was built with geometry. I hope that by the end of the course you will have a different perspective and a greater appreciation for the world around you.

If you are absent, click the link below to get notes for any lesson that we have done.  You will have to copy and paste it into your URL.  Copy the notes. Look for the corresponding assignment that is posted on this blog. If you have questions, bring your notes and your assignment with you to my classroom in the morning.

I expect you to have copied the notes by your return to class. If you were out for extracurricular activities, then school policy dictates that you to return with all assignments completed.

If you were absent due to illness, then # of days out = # of days to return work.

Don’t forget to turn in the assignment that was due on the day of your absence on the day of your return.
